AREAS OF YACHT OPERATION

The areas of operation are classified into three categories based on the level of risk and logistical complexity:

Low-Risk Zone

  • Mediterranean, Caribbean, Northern Europe

  • These areas typically have well-developed infrastructure and lower operational risks. Repatriation costs and logistics in case of emergencies are more manageable.

Medium-Risk Zone

  • Southeast Asia, Central America, West Africa

  • These regions may have variable infrastructure and higher operational risks. Repatriation operations can require more resources and planning.

High-Risk Zone

  • Conflict areas, regions with high natural disaster risk or political instability. Polar Expeditions

  • Operations in these zones present significant challenges. Repatriation and emergency logistics are more complex and costly due to the associated risks...

COUNTRY OF REPATRIATION

The country of repatriation also impacts the planning and costs of the service:

Repatriation to Nearby Countries

  • Repatriation within the same continent or to neighboring countries

  • These cases are usually quicker and less costly, with shorter distances and more frequent transport connections.

Repatriation to Intermediate Countries

  • Repatriation to countries on different continents but with good transport connections

  • Involves more planning and moderate costs, depending on flight connections and necessary arrangements.

Repatriation to Distant Countries

  • Repatriation to distant countries with infrequent direct connections

  • These cases are the most expensive and require detailed logistical planning due to distance and potential lack of direct flights.
